Mayweather was definitely not in his prime. His prime was around the Gatti fight. He was still the best fighter in the world at that point though.

You forget when Mayweather fought Oscar he was fighting at 154 Oscar preferred weight class, back down to 147 Mayweather is faster and more powerful. At 140 or 153 Mayweather wins a UD

It doesn't matter what weight class it is. Oscar was always bigger than Floyd anyway so Oscar with more stamina = UD win.

also if you honestly believe that fight was a SD you have obvious hate for Floyd. No way he lost more than 4-5 rounds and thats being generous. **** what boxrec says people rely on that **** too much anyways. That fight should have never even been a split decision. PBF cleary won that fight. It should have been scored 8-4 or 9-3. Anything closer I just can't agree with. People in fights stop throwing certain punches either because the **** ain't working(constantly getting countered or blocked) or they are hurt. In De la Hoya case he was missing, getting countered, blocked and he was tired.

If the other judge scored the last round for Oscar (which he should have) it would have been a draw.

Still, it was Mayweather's most flawless exhibition. It doesn't matter who he fought at the peak of his skills, that still is his peak.
