How is he going to get much better? He's only fought once in 2008, against a journeyman albeit, and has nothing on the horizon. Wlad on the other hand has been active this year and IMO is in his respective prime....

I read that Dimitrenko has had some promoter issues, that's why he hasn't fought more frequent. I also heard that he's having a hard time to secure meaningful fights.

That's a shame; it'd be nice to see him fight against some of the top guys in the division before he gets fed to Klitshcko...

I know the triangular theory doesn't hold gold in boxing but I found this little tid-bit interesting: Dimitrenko ko'd the only guy(Timo Hoffman) to go 12 rounds with Vitali Klitschko. Timo also interestingly holds wins over Corey Sanders and Ross Purrity. Wlad has also never fought anyone taller than him so that will be something he'll need to adjust to.

timo has been well past it for a while now. wlad has fought guys his height and one taller. mccline and jefferson are 6'6 carlos monroe was 6'8 obviously( not in the class of dim though) but yea,,,dim could give him problems and pull an upset. I need to see more of him to really get a good gauge on his chances
