      if he misses this opportunity, he is being guaranteed 10mil+
      c'mon he can fight dlh and then retire if he wants and just ****in' chill
      for the rest of his life in manila, oscar is the haymaker right now, who will win
      the winning ticket, why hasn't cotto called dlh out ???

      yeah true DLH did start out at 130, but keep in mind that Pac just fought at Lightweight, and another 2 weight classes up is a pretty big move

      though if that 35% offer is on the table Manny just might take it.

      and I don't think Cotto bothered calling DLH out considering he just lost last month, blowing up any realistic chances at Cotto vs De La Hoya happening.

      If they give me 2-3 u/c fights that I'd actually give a **** about (say, David Haye in the co-feature and Gerry Penalosa-Abner Mares, or even Penalosa-Jhonny Gonzalez II), then I honestly couldn't care less who Oscar fights in the main go for his final bout. I almost don't care as it is. {Quote}

      I thought there wasn't going to be an under card on the DLH farewell December 6th card.

      instead of an under card, why not a 2 hour slide show highlighting De La Hoya's career followed by his final fight?

      no undercard, just the slide show + fight.
