It is a pretty big fight in the Asian fight scene. Enoki has beat a number of solid Japanese guys and has been the Japanese featherweight champ for a minute and the OPBF (asian regional belt) for a little while. His last fight was a draw with an undeafeted fighter in Takahiro Aoh which was a WBA eliminator, Aoh is fighting Oscar Larios next.

Japanese do a good job of covering fights. I keep meaning to explore the asian streams for fights.

I usually download them the next day since I'm to lazy to wake up at 4 to watch the fights.

Doesn't matter, he is still a punk. He said no to a fight in the US for a fight in Thailand that didn't even come about.

Also I don't put too much faith on what boxrec says....

Yeah and I read he does a lot if not all of this for free. Had a normal job as an engineer and did the fights because he loved them not for fame, glory or money.

I always enjoy his reports from Japan as well.
