Since the Chinese are going PRO already will it Tarnish boxing or give it more light?

I mean China is communist and Don king and WBC council want to support the chinese boxing going pro by holding championship bouts in china and televised fights there.

I think it might ruin boxing more because the champions will not be permitted to fight out of china if they happen to win a belt.

The chinese government will control the champions.

It will be worse then Joe C fighting in Wales all his life with the belt.

It will be good for pro boxing.

The more countries involved, the more talented fighters will emerge. It's good that pro boxing has become more of an international sport.

people who say boxing is dying couldn't be more wrong.

If the money is in China then I don't see anything wrong holding the fight there. That's the reason fights are held in the U.S. right? Because of money and sales. It will still be regulated by the Alphabet/Boxing committee.

The scary thing is if China commits to boxing...they will dominate the sport.

If a fighter has a promoter who outbids a chinese promoter then the promoter than outbids the other gets to choose which country it's held in. The chinese have no control over that. So they can't keep one fighter that wins a belt in there own country so if they are fighting a high profile opponent then it will most likely be held somewhere other than china.

Hasn't Arum wanted to hold some Pac fights in Macau. I would like to see it. The more competition the better. It may not be as popular in the US as it once was, but internationally it's doing well.
