another Armenian here. I'll try my best to make it. only a few mins from Glendale lol I've seen all of Vanes's fights and played ball with him a few times. Great kid. He will be a champ soon enough. Lots of potential for him.

At this point I think Vanes would beat the **** out of Chavez Jr. JCC Jr. needs to work him on some boxing skills, or mature into the physical monster his father was.
Vanes vs Angulo would be interesting. I have a feeling they are going to try to push Angulo. Guy is like 26, and he is in a wide open division. Vanes I think they bring along more slowly, as he is 22, his trainer stated it would be about a year before they put him in with a champ. He is talented, but his trainer said still learning. Chavez obviously needs more time, cause at this point he aint got what it takes.
Funny how we got Ronald Hearns and JCC Jr. protected and without ammy backround in this division. Hot up and comers like Vanes and Alfredo, yet overall the top guys in the division are crap compared to top guys below and above them.

well stated my friend... and yes 154 is all open with some solid prospects in line to dominate including Vanes, Angulo, James Kirkland, Yuri Foreman and a few others.

next year will be a good year for 154 as these prospects emerge to contender status and clash with one another to rule the throne.
