If Calzaghe could beat Hopkins by just slapping

Imagine what he would have done to him before, when he could punch.
Hopkins would have got battered.

The Calzaghe that destroyed Chris Eubank and could KO before his broken hands would have beaten Hopkins far more easily.
Calzaghe is way past now, you can see that from the Kessler fight, he would have won that with a TKO in his late 20's

Wrong. Dude do you watch boxing or just Joe Calzaghe?
and Calzaghe only beat HOP because he threw more than 4 punches a round.
