Im sick of hearing people say this...hopkins didnt start to slow down until his last fight. Even against winky wright he looked as good as ever...and he dominated Tarver before that. Calzaghe had just turned 36 when he fought hopkins and his punches clearly had no power to them. He shoulda lost that fight...all he did was b!tch slap hopkins gloves the whole fight...he won by a split decision over a 43 year old fighter.

Hopkins didn't have severe hand problems. Although, Calzaghe was never a KO Artist aginst top guys, He used to punch harder than he does now..

EDIT- Hopkins didn't look "Good as ever" against Winky. He looked fantastic for his age, But no where near as good as he look against Tito Trinidad.

Paraguay leader replaces military

The new Paraguayan President, Fernando Lugo, has replaced the commanders of the army, navy, and air force.

The dismissals follow the removal earlier this week of the head of the national police by Mr Lugo - a centre-left former Roman Catholic bishop.

Correspondents say his actions form part of a campaign promise to reform the impoverished South American country's military and police.

Mr Lugo won elections in April, ending more than 61 years of right-wing rule.

Presidential spokesman Augusto Dos Santos told the Associated Press that Mr Lugo, who was sworn in on 15 August, had signed 30 decrees naming new commanders of the armed forces.

The decrees do not mention the reason for the appointments, but the president promised last week to reform the military.

The former bishop said soldiers would carry out humanitarian tasks for the poor and "never again ... be used to repress or harass" people.

At this point calzaghe should have more power...but he doesnt because hes a chump whos gonna get ****ed up by roy jones. Roy already knows he cant be hurt...when calzaghe throws a punch he doesnt look like a boxer. He looks like a girl gettin mugged tryin to do whatever he can to survive...slappin and ****. He shoulda retired a couple years ago...calzaghe is not a great boxer. Great boxers dominate in their prime and last a long time (at least middle weights and up).

Not quite sure what your on about. Most people even fans, accept Calzaghe is not that powerful especially not now, because of his hands and style mostly. Manfredo stoppage was early but another 20 seconds of 1 sided ness and it woulda been fair so no biggy.
