I hate to be the bad news bears but us as fans can't change anything. Were **** out of luck. Boxing is ran by billionare companies, with millionaire promoters and there's not much we can do about that. Rally send all the letters you want but it's going to be to no avail. Sorry to sound like a ****, it's just the harsh reality that we can't push boxing anywhere. It's HBO, Golden boy, and all the other people that have the most power/money to change things to lure the casual fans back into boxing.

The thing is they're not going to because it doesn't matter to them. You're correct, I as one person cannot shift what happens in this sport. However, myself along with a group of like minded individuals can at least attempt to try and figure out a way to make some noise so that things do change. Every person who contributes helps. I expect plenty of people with your mindset to say the same thing you say. I don't mean to sound like a **** either, but if it doesn't interest you in trying to do something positive, then don't ***** about the way things are.

Boycotting ppv's is not a smart idea. That isn't the problem. The problem is guys like Arum and Suliaman. Suliaman is a guy I like too. Don King is good and bad. Arum went from good to terrible. The problem also is also fans who don't think titles are important. There are over 5000 boxers in the world. We need universal rankings. We are not getting fights like Pac/Guzman, Valero/Pac, Pav/Abraham, Holt/Hatton, John/Linares...etc. We are getting money fights, and cutting the up andcoming fighters out just to see guys we know. I loved it when unknown guys came in and either won titles or gave a good account of themselves. Us fans are to blame as well as the promotors for wanting to see the same old fighters in different fights. If there is anything promotors can do, it is create a better undercard for ppv's. This will get people to want to pay for those ppv fights. Nobody wants to see a ppv type fight like Pac-Diaz ever again.

I'm not bitching about the way things are YOU ARE that's why you started this thread. Point is you can gather 200 people from boxingscene and knock on Golden Boy promotions office and protest whatever you want, it's not going to change anything. What EXACTLY are you trying to change? If delahoya is wanting to fight pacquiao that should show you how much they about what you think. There's only a handful of people that actually have the power and money to make boxing more appealing to mainstream fans, but reality is they don't care what we think. DEAL with it! Were you not happy with the cotto-margarito fight? vasquez-marquez? jmm-paquiao? calzaghe-jones? jones-trinidad(5ook ppv buys)? What exactly are you trying to change? Don't say no PPV fights because you are dreaming if you think you can change that.

We can also stay in contact with each other, and when there is a major fight, wear boxingscene t-shirts demanding Arum put his fighters in with the best rather than old men and men out of their prime. Don King made great cards, but underpaid his fighters. Suliaman bends the rules for some Mexican fighters. Bob Lee just stole lol. We need great headliners and great undercards. We need to make a top 10 list with 5 bold suggestions on one side of the t-shirt, and 5 on the other. Where ever the fights are, who ever lives in that area, who ever attends the fight, send them the t-shirt or a big sign lol, and try to get close to a camera man so they can blow up our 10 suggestions lol.

We got to start somewhere. They may not do anything, but they will see everything. I have suggestions about a pension for fighters too.

I am happy with Cotto-Margarito, etc. but those fights only come around sparingly. I don't have any one specific thing that I am trying to change so if you want to take a shot at me go right ahead. I can't argue with you and your opinion and honestly am not going to waste my time trying.

Better PPV's would be one of my requests..
You have a main event thats decent and then bare **** undercard fights
hate to bring up the ufc but those guys put on great matchups from start to finish
we need to follow the example...
