i know my stuff. i know bernard is great but i will never ever like the guy.

whenever people compare him to hagler , monzon or other middle greats...... i seriously feel like puking.

i feel the same way about that garbage tarver. actually i hate tarver more.
Dont get me wrong, but Hagler was really good, but he was just a little bit more hyped than he should have been.

tito was not in top form during that fight. he donated pints and pints of blood because of the tragedy in new york at the time. his volunteering with nyfd also dug into his final training. his volunteer work also caused him to feel ill from the asbestos. prime tito kos bernard. bernard knows this and that's why he ducked tito afterwards. i don't even remember how many times bernard turned down tito's offers for a rematch when he was 100%. can't blame bernard he knew who the better fighter was.

name a big win for bernard and i'll name you a bigger win for marvin.

hagler's division was not the deepest but it was better than bernard's division.

I think Bernard would beat Monzon and Hagler both. And if Tito fought Bernard 100 times, he would lose everytime. You can't seriously say that Tito donated so much blood that he was just tired for the bernard fight. Why would he ruin himself against his hardest challenge in his entire career? His heart of gold? Cmon, Tito is a great ****er, but against a master of the craft he has no chance. I also don't see Tito deserving this rematch, BHop dominated him once, and was looking for his Oscar payday. Tito retired, only to come back to fight Winky and retire again..

Let me guess the PR people said this, just like what they said about Margs huh?
And let me get this straight, Bernard "ducked" Tito right. So what the hell did Tito do with Oscar? Oscar kicked his ass up and down that ring and put that boy in a private boxing school. But Tito "NEVER" ducked Oscar after that, huh?

Tito is and was WAY over rated. He beat Joppy, Vargas with a bad back and 21 fights, David Reid, an old Pernell, an old Campas. Should have lost to Oscar, and got KO'ed by Bernard. WOW what a career.

Your a good poster, but, haha, yeah. Hopkins whooped that ass and he would do it ten times outta ten. Tito looked like a scared child against Bernard.
PS I am a Tito fan, but Oscar beat that ass too!

Tarver is garbage. That is what made it so great when Popkins wiped the floor with him. I just wish Popkins would have asked "You got any 'xcuses Tony?"

I was reading the new ring magazine today and a writer said that if hopkins fought the hagler that fought around '86-'87, hopkins would have a real good chance of winning. If hopkins fought the hagler of around '80, hagler would win by UD. I think I agree with that.
