But I will not argue about Team Kessler making a big mistake for not securing tha Miranda fight. I was sad then and sad now. However I still would like to see Miranda squaring off against Kessler, and I think Miranda might fare better than he did against AA i.e. a couple of rounds better.
I never thought Miranda would have beaten Kessler under any circumstances, unless he really got lucky. He would have tried his hardest though to take it to Kessler and no doubt give Kessler some scary moments.

That is what Kess needs more than anything. He needs to face a couple real dark horses who are dangerous as heck, will fight dirty and get Kess pissed off in there. Then you will see Kess step up and beyond. Then you will see a Kessler who would have beaten Joe that night. Put him in with Green or Zuniga. They will bring out the fire in him.

That was the best gift Arum ever gave Pavlik when he was up and coming. He threw pavlik in with the Zuniga's and Zertuche's. They were not championship material, but they were truely dangerous contenders and they tried to take Pavlik's head off in there. Pavlik had to adjust to them to beat them while turning it up a notch. Best learning experience he ever had.

Larry that is not true. I like Kessler and I am not a fan of Calzaghe. I respect Joe's game, but that is as far as it goes.

Kessler has amazing skills. He has incredible potential and has the right physical gifts to be even a step higher. He just needs the fire in his belly.

I really don't think one should question Kessler's heart. For instance in his last fight against Sartison he was rocked pretty good in the first round. Kessler came back immidiately and won the round.

Anyway I hope Pavlik vs. Kessler gets made before long. That's the fight I want to see. I hope it gets made before Kessler vs. Taylor as I think stylewise Pavlik is much the better opponent for Kessler.

Well some of the English fans yes. He also has a real great Danish contingent in here standing by him, as well as other fans from around the world who love his pure boxing skill.

Not all the English fans are a fan of Joe either. I go to other sites and many do not like him. Joe has a relatively vocal crowd in here, but so does practically every other fighter. Joe also has a lot in here who **** all over him.

Hatton gets made fun of also, which I don't understand. Hatton is fun as hell to watch in there. IMO, he has some of the best footwork I have ever seen in this game. I have never seen anyone who he had to chase around. He corners EVERYONE on the ropes effortlessly. If Hatton had just a bit more punching power and patience, I think he would have been a truly great fighter.

I'm not questioning his heart, but concerned with his ability to rise up when he needs to, basically his confidence. He needs to beat a hardened guy, who is known to be dangerous, who will give him truly scary moments. Sartison was nothing once Kessler found his groove and took a one sided pounding. Sartison basically only caught him cold. Kessler needs a hardened, well known fighter who will attack him and keep on attacking till Kessler solves his puzzle. Then you will see a new Kessler after that fight. Once he beats a truly respected badass, you will see a new Kessler.

Kessler has so much pure talent, that most guys will never even threaten him. You will find many say that until Joe came along, Mikkel never lost a professional round of boxing. That IMO, is a very bad thing as he always had it so easy. He needed some wild and dangerous opponents who would have ignited that little extra he has in him.

Well he fought all the top SMW's. It says more about Pavlik that he had scary moments against Green and Zuniga. Kessler didn't lose a round because he's head and shoulders above the rest.

Think about what the outcome might have been had Kessler not had a broken hand and had sparring before JoeC. I would suspect that the outcome would have been different. But that's just my humble opinion.

The Kessler love is just strange. I think dudes on here must find him attractive. His best win is over a fellow overrated European clown Markus Beyer. Kessler needs to beat a good opponent to get any credit from me, but it looks like he's going to take the Euro route and hide overseas for most of his career ala Hatton, Calzaghe, Ottke, Beyer, Erdei, and every other Euro champ we've seen in the last 10 years
