They have done tests, if you soak them in water they become hard as rocks but you WILL break you're hands if you attempt to punch with them

its impossile to wrap your hands illegally without the other fighters team knowing about it. when your wrapping your hands before a fight a member of the other team has to stand and watch, so if tito was wrapping his hands illegally the other team would have either not noticed or not realised. it was just tito's immense power that made them feel like they were 'being hit with bricks'

Even if his hands were wrapped against Hopkins it wouldn't of helped. He just couldn't land on Hopkins that night. Hopkins was just too good
