Is this Olympics good for boxing? China is the biggest nation in the world and if they got more into boxing we could have a lot of new champions from there in the future.
Most of the Chinese boxers I've seen so far in the Olympics fight with the low handed, relaxed style that sometimes doesn't work in the professional ranks.
But if they successfully adapt to the professional style then I don't see a problem with it.

I've had a look on boxrec and most of their fighters have debuted inn 2007-2008. They only have 4-5 fighters per division and it goes as low as 1 in some but it definitely seems like they are getting into it now.
Like the Cubans and Chinese it's easier to stay at amateur, that's why they win all the medals. It's like having Amir Khan still as an amateur...hardly fair is it?
Everybody is equal and everything is shared between them, If they turn pro they would earn millions which goes against the laws of communism, So they have to stay Amateur unless they defect like Gamboa and a few others.

I'm no expert but that's basically it me thinks.
Surely they're not or they wouldn't have a professional football league?
