Diaz was the one initiating most of the clinches but then pretends like he was the one getting clinched when the referee gets near. Horrible penalties by the referee.

Hopkins and/or Ruiz taught him well indeed.
I think the Italian Russo was doing something similar as well, that one was funnier though because he was winning the fight easily and was just doing it to frustrate his opponent and buy time, it was so blatant but the referee never caught on.Comment

Ok thank you i didn't knew.
Maybe it#s because i'm french but i feel it was a roberry, i feel very bad for vastine, he is a young fighter had a chance to get a gold medal.
but i can wait too see khedafi djelkhir against that very good ukrainian fighter, it will be a good fightComment

Tunney favours white fighters. That is to say he spends his entire time nuthugging white fighters like some sort of crazy boy and vilifies black fighters at every opportunity. In response to this comment he will probably give me red K and then respond with something like "Oh but I do like black fighters! I like Vernon Forrest!" and then he'll make another topic about how white fighters are racially discriminated against.Comment

Good post. Yes, it was to be one of the biggest achievements in his lifetime, the result of years of training and preparation, and it was stolen from Vastine. I would have been upset too.
That was Vasyl Lomachenko, and he's possibly the most talented of all boxers in the 2008 Olympics.Last edited by The Hammer; 08-22-2008, 05:17 PM.Comment

He's wrong about that, but I do like European fighters, just like some people here like African-American fighters.
That's how I felt too. It was an injustice.
I'm very much looking forward to Lomachenko vs. Djelkhir too.Comment
