Knocking Calzaghe down doesn't really help you. He'll only come back stronger, and make him more determined.

The knockdown was fair cop, a nice punch but it weren't enough to ko him. he was off balance.

B Hop exposed Calzaghe he made everyone aware of how overrated he really is and confirmed what we all suspected anyway that a prime B Hop,Jones ,Toney would have destroyed him

If Hopkins had expended more energy earlier it would have been in vain IMO. Joe wasn't hurt.

Had he gone for the kill the fight might have looked like Pavlik-Taylor. Hopkins was exhausted in the end, and if he had spend energy going in for the kill I seriously doubt he would have lasted the distance.

Hopkins couldn't KO Calzaghe if he had a week in the ring and the gas spend on it. He's never been a big puncher against fighters his size. You can't believe, not really, that Hopkins is going to "finish" Calzaghe, one of the toughest beards in the sport. Besides, to finish, you have to start, and I never saw even the beginnings of trouble caused by something Barny did to Zaggs.
