USA V UK is not a rivalry in boxing.

Why is it historically the Americans have whooped up all over these British boys. Since the start of boxing USA has clearly had the UK's number. Way back in the Jack Johnson days the UK champion was just looked as another stepping stone to lead into a bigger fight with Americans. Whats worse is their fighters and fans now consider fighting Americans not that important in a career. Brits listen up we have whooped your ass in war, boxing, and whatever else countries would care about. You judge your fighters by fighting Americans and no one else. We have always been top dog and we are the measuring stick. This also applys to fighters like Kessler and others like him. You arent anything until you fight a top American. Till you step up to the dish you're just a paper champion.

You guys do fine. I didn't say the UK sucks, I just said they dont compare to the good ol US of A. America is still top dog and all great fighters from other countries to be considered great need to fight great American fighters.
