    Roberto Duran vs. Ernesto Marcel?

has anyone ever seen this fight? It was actually at 130lbs when Duran was only 19, and Marcel went on to be the first person to beat Alexis Arguello, which is pretty surprising.

also, has anyone ever seen Duran vs. Jorge Fernando Castro II? Castro was actually rated #5 or so in the RING Magazine rankings at the time I believe, but it seems strange that Duran won the fight. looks like he lost pretty much every round in the first fight, and he came back to win at his age and everything? wondering if it was a bad decision.

Some more old Duran fights (from the same uploader):

          Duran vs Robertson

          Duran vs Villa

The punching power in Duran's right hand was incredible. Carried up to 160 lbs.

The funny thing with the Castro fights is that people said that both won their decisions at home. People thought Duran won in Argentina, and tried to say He beat Duran in Panama. I thought Duran won both fights, but Castro was a heck of a fighter. I still remember the one punch ko of jackson.

Yeah, that was crazy. Jackson was beating Castro badly the whole fight. Then out of nowhere *boom*.

wow, you dont say? I havent seen either, never been able to find video of it. odd situation, people consider them both robberies, haha...

very straightfoward fighter, Castro. but he got the job done a number of times, and even had a run at Cruiserweight after he lost the Middleweight title. that KO punch was surprising, haha

Eyes swollen and cut then "boom" lol. Duran imo was just able to hit Castro clean while Castro never could hit Duran clean for th whole fight. they looked so funny being past his prime. Duran was just a beast lol.

Castro was brutally ko'd at cruiser too by Herrera, and came back to stop him if I'm not mistaken. I did not see the rematch, but was surprised he won the rematch. I rememeber seeing him lose to Gomez. He moved up too fast to take on a guy like Juan Carlos.
