Beating Smith is a step up from getting stopped by Margarito, that's for sure.

Cotto fighting Smith is no more a step back than Barrera fighting Paulie Ayala after losing to Pacquiao or Klitschko fighting Eliecer Castillo after being stopped by Brewster. All it takes is one smashing performance to put Cotto right back into the picture.

The one thing Ishe has going for him in getting this fight is his utter lack of punching power.
      Delvin Rodriguez is dominican

Ishe is a solid fighter. I thought he beat Julio. That said, unless your name is Floyd Mayweather, you dont outbox Miguel Cotto. In fact I think he's a boxer's kryptonite. Because he can cut off the ring as well as anyone in the sport.

What's really funny is that, in another letter, a reader asks G. Leon what happened to a certain writer on the site. He just brushes it off by saying something like, "I can't be bothered worrying about anyone but me. I'm on my grind."

Hey buddy, the site is your grind too! And I'd wanna know what would happen if one of my writers just stopped writing. But I guess judging from the quality of articles and the ****ty interviews lately, he doesn't care anymore.
Seriously, who the **** interviews Roy Jones and asks him a whole bunch a questions about DLH. Talk about the fight, d*ck!

                Here's another classic from Leon

You are on some serious drugs. I understand the commercial sense for Ishe to fight Cotto…But come on, you think he would pick up more than a pay check against cotto !!! Seriously man. I would have picked Cotto to turn around and beat Ishe 30 minutes after being beat down by Margs… your crazy…AM

Leon's Response: How did you know? You have to be to deal with this business 24 hours a day. Yes I think he would pick up more than a paycheck against Cotto. Styles make fights.

I have to agree with the other guy there, boxing adages like "styles make fights" wouldn't help Smith much once he got in the ring with Cotto.

Please. RJJ was on national TV (ESPN) months ago talkng about Oscar. This was MONTHS ago and hes still calling him out. Joe T asks Roy who he wants and RJJ said Oscar. Joe looks at him like wtf thats pathetic. "Really Roy are you serious?". Yes!. "Well what about the money issue roy, that always seems to come up with you?" Roy Jones shaking his head like a black woman" We could work it out!!!"

Im not making this up, it was on Friday Night Fights a while back.

Ishe should have been off the air after the contender. If it wasnt for G Leon we wouldnt even know who Ishe Smith is. Even after a loss, he takes pride in the fact he gets them right back on TV. GLeon does what he can for his fighters, you have to give him that.
