nothing you said no way clottey gets stopped by margarito so i just reminded you that you said no way margarito beats cotto and he did.

no i didnt... i didnt say no way margarito beats cotto, i didnt say that at all... matter of fact i have a thread about 20 pages long that says , am i the only one that thinks that cotto isnt getting past margarito...


and as the fight drew nearer i decided i thought cotto was going to win... but the words "NO way will margarito beat COTTO"

They are both tough fights for Margarito. I think he matches up better with Clottey, because Clottey is either defending or attacking. Margarito will be attacking because Clottey is not that big of a puncher which will force Clottey to defend. For the first few round Clottey will do alright but over the course of the fight i see Margarito taking control. I know Clottey will not knock out Margarito and I am pretty confident Margarito will not knock out Clottey either.

As for a Williams rematch I can't see this ending in a knock out either. In a match up of two big guys who like to fight on the inside. I do not think the fight would start out like the first fight because I think Margarito would focus on comming out fast. Williams is not really a great technical boxer so i figure he will do mostly what he did in the first fight, maybe he can mix in some more outside fighting with the inside fighting and grappling. Maybe Margarito can outwork or outland Williams the second time to win a decision but i still think that Williams will take a 8-4 decision in a good back and forth fight.

Margarito should win a UD against Clottey and Williams would outbox Margarito to a UD.
