        Nothing like the guys we're talking about. I don't remember him that well (other than as a punching bag for Ali and Foreman...and Cooney too, his last fight I think?), he was more of a gatekeeper than a serious contender, and never had really notable power that I recall. His only title shot was against Clay, and he got TKO'd late, like maybe the 12th or 13th. I don't know what happened to him after Cooney cleaned his clock. That was a year or two before I graduated high school and entered military service, and that was really the last I heard of him. Probably retired after the Cooney fight, he was getting old then.

            I wish I could remember it. I was still in grade school at the time and I know I must've watched it, but I don't remember it. I know Lyle was KO'd, but that's about it. Maybe I didn't see the whole fight (might've gone out to play or something after a round or so). Just don't know. If it was that good, I'd like to get a copy of it.
