As for the alst fight, Hatton perfromed far superior to paulie, Paulie was lucky to win. Hatton TOTALLY dominated Lazcano from round one to twelve.
Paulie is not in the top 3 at junior ww, he would be beaten of witter, Bradley and Hatton. He should make the most of his big payday as hatton will imo beat him
I agree with the ego point about Paulie. His last 2 fights have been slack and i think he got it into his head that he just trains hard and shows up, he will win, obviously he did but barely! He has got the quality its just his mind set when he fights Hatton.

The Hatton fight is different, i said before Ngoudjo - Paulie was champ and Paulie was expect to win and then N'Dou II - Paulie had destroyed this guy in the 1st fight, if he shows up he will do it again without trying much and obviously nearly cost him. But Hatton is different, Hatton is THE MAN in the LWW division and Paulie knows he has one shot at him, the opportunity is HUGE to mess it up, Paulie will fight his own fight and get the UD.

is this the same night where hatton fought a guy who had not fought for a whole year and a quarter and in all honesty his best years was at lightweight!!! he was also comiing off a loss to harris, harris then got sparked out.

hatton for me won the fight, but he was very sloppy and unimpressive he got hurt more times in that one fight by a blown up lightweight then in any of his wins, there was no head movement, he hit lazcano with everything he had and he could not budge the guy he was ready to be knocked out and hatton could not pull the trigger very unimpressive.... this is against a guy who knew he could not win, hatton also did not close the ring down that well which he normally does really well and he got badly hurt in round 9 or 10, i just cant understand how u can say he won every round and make out it was an impressive performance bit blinkered...

pauli actually broke his hand against n'dou who to be fair his nothing special and pauli had already destoryed him previously in my mind his a better challenge than lazacano... pauli got through the fight with one hand and that is the worry against hatton if the hand goes but its the chance u have to take really.. pauli has a great chin, hatton will not finish him off even if he goes to the body (n'dou is a rough fighter like hatton and when pauli had no hand troubles he destroyed him) pauli will pop the jab and throw combos just spin and move its the easy way to beat a slow hatton who his not motivated for this fight and i am convinced pauli has it in him to pull off an "upset" i just think when he has to he will trade with hatton but will also have the superior work rate as hatton is for me slowing down no head movement trying to walk through shots pauli should be able to pick his shots

me and you must have watched different fights because imo hatton got caught maybe 3 times in the lazcano fight with one of them really shaking him. Hatton totally dominated the fight winning 10 rounds on my card with 2 drawn. On the judges card he won all 12 rounds. Now you can make excuses all you want about Paulies hand but they wanted to pull the Hatton fight in the week leading upto it because he was suffering from a virus. yet he still fought on. Also you must remember that this was Hattons first fight back after his 1st ever loss and the pressue that must have been on him in front of nearly 60000 people must have been immense.
Imo Paulie is not as tough as lazcano and I honestly don't think Paulie would take 12 rounds of what Lazcano took.
it's not even as if Paulie is clever like Floyd and will box his way to victory.
Paulie has been in against one good fighter and thats cotto and he got hammered. I honestly can't see it being any different against hatton

please tell me peeps what has Paulie ever done in his entire carrer to suggest he could beat Hatton?
Paulie is only known for getting a good hiding of cotto and being the 1st man to get his hair cut in the ring during a fight. he is not known for beating good fighters never mind the best in the division

Stick and move. Land combos and get outta the way. Use his hand and foot speed advantages to keep Hatton from attackin him in close.

Hatton cuts the ring off way too good for Paulie to win with the stick and move imo. Paulie's best chance is to make it an ugly fight and just try and land one clean punch as Ricky comes in and clinch him to force a break. Regardless of what PM does Hatton is still going to beat him by UD or late TKO.
