If people get to say Margarito is Mexican then as far as I'm concerned Lennox is Jamaican.

Lewis has the size, style, and skills to beat almost any heavyweight of all time, so I've no issue with the notion that he'd beat Ali.

The difference being that Margarito grew up in Mexico, whereas Lewis was born and raised in the same country, England.

As a fan, I don't feel insulted by this pick. I think Lennox at his best could definitely threaten prime Ali. He's a big man wit a heavy right and knows how to use his height. The jab would be key. Would I pick Lewis? No, but it wouldn't be an unthinkable upset to me.

I'd pick Lewis over Ali, too. Ali was great...not invincible, and I think Lewis had the right toolbox to beat him. Said this about 4 years ago. 'Course I got ripped for it. I'd take Vitali Klitchko over Ali, too (by KO), but I'd take Ali (by comfortable decision) over Wladimir.

LOL, maybe you need to rethink the second part of that sentence. Who's worth a damn in that division???

Honestly I think Lennox would beat Ali as well.....call me crazy but Ali didn't have to fight guys as athletic, big, skilled and as powerful as Lennox when he fought. Maybe one or two of those things I mention above but no single fighter that had it all.....like Ali himself. Lennox UD.

I actually think Lewis would end the fight in a KO over Ali. Ali had a good chin, but that's mostly because he saw everything coming. He got caught once in his early career and was saved by his trainer and the bell from a KO loss. Can't remember the guy he fought, but I don't recall him being a big puncher. I think Lewis would've landed a right hand, badly hurting Ali, and then finishing him off later that round, or the next.

We have talked about this fight before and I always said that unless Lennox got careless he would have a great shot at beating Ali. Ali beats everyone else on this list though, unless prime Tyson managed to catch him early somehow.
