The Las Vegas Sun spoke with several boxing and betting insiders who believe that a potential Dec. 6 bout between Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao would open with De La Hoya being a bit less than a 2-1 favorite, much closer than many would have predicted. Pacquiao, the WBC lightweight champion, would have to rise by two weight-divisions to face De La Hoya at the agreed upon weight of 147-pounds. De La Hoya has fought as high as 160-pounds, while Pacquiao moved up from super featherweight a few months ago. [details]

Oh daaaaamn. This is easy money. If any body wants to make big bucks get some bets on DLH because its only a 2-1 so that means more money involved with the winner right? I think its because there are many asians that probably bet on pac, or people that dont really follow boxing and are just following the hype. I think I might even bet.Comment

Are you sure? All my friends, a lot of them Mexican seem to think Oscar is over-the-hill and that Pacquiao's speed and determination will beat him. They also think those odds aren't realistic.Comment

Sheeeeet!!!! I wanted to put at least 3 bills on Pacquiao but those odds are going to suck. I don't wanna put money on DLH cuz it will spoil the fun of rooting for my man.
What do odds makers know anyway...The real experts are the detractors who think Pacqiuao will loose his head.Comment
