Why are some "Boxing fans" on here trying to prevent a Margarito/Williams II fight?

Cotto is the #1 rated guy under Williams's belt now, and personally I would rather see Cotto vs. Williams and Margarito vs. De La Hoya than Margarito vs Williams 2...especially if both of them won. Williams vs. Margarito 2 would be much more fun if they were both coming off of those two huge wins.

but maybe thats just me. if the two fights above cannot be made then forget it, and lets have Margarito Williams 2.

I want to see it and I'm sure it will happen mid 09. Tony deserves at least one big payday so there should be no problem with him going after De La Hoya, after all, according to the Williams "fans" prior to the Cotto fight, Tony was just a overrated journey man bum with 5 losses so by their logic, De La Hoya should get rid of Tony quite easily. Tony isn't the best fighter of this generation anyway right?

and anyone whose a fan of margarito, doesnt want to see him lose... and that will happen if he fights williams again... so thats why they dont want to see it.
No doubt, Williams is the real deal. I love him. But the idea that Margarito is ducking him is just ludicrous. For too many reasons.

Margarito won't fight him next. Get over it. But he WILL fight him? Why? Because that's just the type of fighter he is.

Instead of worrying about when Margarito will fight him (AGAIN), fans should ask themselves why no one seems willing to fight Williams for the FIRST time.
Why are you so defensive? I ask a question based on what i have read on BS forum, A lot of "fans" are actually quite oppose to the Margarito/Williams II fight. Am not saying the fight would have next or never but a simple question of why some people dont want to see it.

I don't know if a lot of fans are opposed to a rematch - perhaps not right away? I don't recall anyone saying, "this fight should NEVER happen." I think most people just don't expect it to happen right away (and rightfully so IMO).

As for not getting a payday against Oscar, rest assured Margarito will find the next biggest payday possible. If anyone deserves a break, it's him.

My point is that the rematch WILL occur. Just not when certain people want it. They'll get over it. In the meantime, the real question is, who will Paul Williams fight next? And how come no one else can fight him besides Margarito?

I'm against it because it's not big enough yet. Williams just lost his fight before last and Margarito lost to Williams last year.

Let them build up a bit more... Maybe if Margs beats Clottey and Williams wins his next fight then they can fight this time next year.
