hmmm, sounds familiar..... oh yeah! ---> mayweather offered $8million to fight Margarito but instead fought baldomir for about half that money.

the only difference, baldomir was the highest ranked ww at the time while there is no fighter Margarito can fight ranked higher than williams.

Don't even bother to make a case out of your argument sir. We could go around in circles with this especially since Williams lost to Carlos Quintana who lost to Cotto who lost to Margarito. Margarito is a good fighter and I think he has huge chance to beat Paul in the rematch especially if he starts fast.

It's funny because I like Paul Williams especially since he fights almost exactly like margarito except he has limited power for such a tall guy.

Yeah he was so scared that he asked for an immidiate rematch after the first fight and Williams said no!! The rematch is gonna happen but it's gonna happen on Arums timetable.

I like how most boxing fans think that fighters actually have a say in who they fight. Arum would rather build up Tony's popularity first and then put him in against Williams. Plus most people think that Clotty only lost to Margarito becasue of his hands getting hurt so margarito has somthing to prove against Clotty as well.

Oh but I'm sure you forgot about all that.

Tony ain't making 4 million anywhere else besides Oscar..and Oscar doesn't want to pay him.

He should take that offer instead of taking a TOUGH fight with Clottey for peanuts.

I like Paul just fine what are you talking about? And he beat Antonio fair and square I just really find it funny that you make it sound like Paul completely obliterated Tony. He won by a few very hard to judge rounds and most "Boxing Experts" agree that the fight could have gone either way. I like good boxers and Paul is a good one but if Tony would have came out the winner in that fight I would be the last person to say that "He Kicked Pauls ass" and I have a feeling that most of you didn't even watch that fight considering how losely you use the word "ass Kicking" over and over again.

Honestly this is pointless to even make these marga******s understand anything else than the bull**** that they spew over and over again. They treat him like he is chuck norris. Without them tho, we would not have threads like the "Margarito has no regard for what else?" thread. that was classic. But on a serious note, all Paul needs to do is clean the division. Toney has no desire to be in the same ring with Paul and this decision is easier for him since his promoter doesnt want to see the both of them lace it up again for Pride and Punishment part 2. Great name btw. Paul cleans out the division, these mexican fans will give Tony so much **** for not trying to avenge a loss, he wont be able to step out of his house. Then and only then will Tony consider getting back in the ring with Skinny Pun.

Because Tony wanted a rematch in the ring after he lost the first fight and Gossen said no! The fight was almost a year and a half ago and only now Gossen wants Margarito. When are you ****** ****s gonna realize that neither fighter is afraid of each other and it's the promoters who are holding this thing up. It's about money and if Tony beats Clotty at Dodgers stadiam I geuerentee a fight with williams will pay him 6 million considering how much more popular he will become fighting in the spotlight.

It's boxing dumbass and if you haven't figured out that boxing is about money first then you fail at not only boxing but at life!
