In my opinion Khan is way better than people think ... He used to be over-rated and now hes UNDER rated.Comment

Yeah, they charge us for crap like Hatton-Lazcano and Khan-Random Guy, but not for the good stuff.
Sometimes it bothers me that so few people in the UK seem to follow boxing, and instead football gets so much attention. But then when I think that boxing becoming popular would cost me money/mean me watching good fights on sopcast, I decide that it's not so bad after all.
BTW I wasn't trying to start a US vs UK thing before

Thats what i mean,
Yeah all we get PPV is Khan and Hatton, and when we have PPVs they are shown a week later free. But we have to stay up till about 3AM to watch fights live so it evens up a bit

I agree, I mean the states promoters say 4-5 PPV's a year only for the mega fights. Here we have Khan set up for countless of them from now, and the next fight probs even the one after, isn't even a title one.
He's not a big enough name or draw to start demanding PPV, so it's a ****** decision imo. I hate Sky aswell, if it wasn't for Setanta there'd be monopolising even more.Comment

Yeah, its funny being a boxing fan here isn't it. I regularly watch my friends eyes glaze over as I enthuse over some American fight. It's OK when its Khan vs ancient featherweight, but ehen you start telling them about something like Cotto - Margarito its like...whatever, and if its Clottey - Judah...forget about it.Yeah, they charge us for crap like Hatton-Lazcano and Khan-Random Guy, but not for the good stuff.

I don't think most people really follow boxing as a sport at all. They just see it as a load of bull**** that sometimes throws up a noteworthy match. I think the main reason is that to follow the sport as a whole, you have to watch a real lot of boxing, and if you're in the UK/ not in the US that takes a whole load of effort, not to mention bandwidth!Comment

I like Khan. His fighting style since he started focussing on power rather than trying to be slick reminds me a little of a young Calzaghe, at least when he's at medium distance. He's not as good as calzaghe was after the same number of fights, but he's fighting better opposition and is about four years ahead of schedule. I think you could put him in with any top lightweight and he wouldn't embarass himself, its just we don't know if he can take a punch. To be fair to him, he's got up off the deck to win a couple of times now, which is a good sign. Maybe his chin isn't the greatest, but if he can recover well he should be alright.
Also people make a bit much of him getting KD'd. It happened to gamboa, and I've never seen Khan as hurt as Katsidis has been a couple of times. I guess time will tell, won't it.Comment

He is going to flop, badly. It won't sell at all. His fans don't understand he is **** and would not pay money to see him fight. His fanbase is made up of casual fans who follow the hype. Most of them think he already is a world champion.Comment
