im also willing to put a bet that " jones beats calzaghe" with all my points

Not 100% certain but i predict:

4rth round ko by jones, calzaghe gets up and is brutaly TKO'd before the end of round 4
Roy isnt knocking Joe out, realistically.

        Bottomline....

Roy has to be able to throw alot of punches for 12 rounds.

One thing I will say is this, I personally believe that Roy's power is underated and Calzaghe will find that out on November 8th. I think Roy will land the cleaner/harder punches. But still, will he throw enough of them?

          I just watched Calzaghe/Hopkins yesterday..

If Calzaghe fights like that he will lose to Roy. But I don't think he will.

I think Calzaghe is a great fighter but some make him out to be Tyson in 88. No offense to his fans, but hes not invincible. Remember hes 36 too, whos to say he won't begin to slip a little.

he doesnt need to throw as many punches as joe to win this fight... but he does need to throw enough of them...

yeah your right. but like you said he has to throw a solid number. But maybe even more important, the harder punches. And I really believe that Roy's power is a little underated. Roy is one of the best body punchers I've ever seen...even now.

yeah, roys arsenal, even now, completely trumps bernards... bernard barely did any body work, and relied on a right hand that slowed down over the course of 12 rounds... roys is faster, harder, and doesnt slow down, and roy LOVES working the body... should be interesting.

Yup, Hopkins at this point is move in a circle...counter right and thats basically it. And I like Bernard but its the truth...

Roy actually has decent stamina for 39 years old. And you know what else people are underestimating? The fact that Roy Jones is going to be all the way up for this fight, he'll have motivation. Roy is going to wicked determined to win because he respects this opportunity and who he is fighting. Also, Roy probably wouldn't have taken this fight if he didn't think he could deal with Calzaghe's work rate. Roy is one of the smartest fighters in the buisness, ask anybody.

And Calzaghe fans that think the Jones who faught Glen Johnson is going to show up. That was one fight that he looked that bad. Every fight after that he never looked that bad again...
