I dont care if Roy has been knocked out twice, Calzaghe was never as good as Roy at any point in his career.

Its ok, Calzaghe will catch aids soon & die.

Yes sir, and if you watch Joe in the Kessler and Hop fight you will see how wide open he leaves himself for uppercuts. Look for Roy to take advantage of this. Indeed Roy loves going to the body. I don't recall to many fighters getting to Calzaghe's body that easy. We will see fast body shots from Roy when Joe comes in wild with his head down swinging wildly like he does (watch Kessler fight). Kessler is not fast enough to catch Joe when he leaves himself open while Roy could hit him multiple times with his speed.

People do underestimate his power. It didn't help that he couldn't/didn't finish Tito off but I don't see Jones KO'ing Calzaghe anyway. I will look for some KD's even though Joe has a hard chin, any fighter can be hurt when you cant see a punch coming.

On the flip side Joe has his great endurance that will last him the entire fight, unless of course he ages over night. His hands are weak and I think he might be some what gun shy once he gets hit a few times from Roy's body shots.

Overall it will be a great fight and I KNOW Roy is ready, willing, and VERY VERY HUNGRY compared to the money green eyed Joe (can you blame him?) and his mind set on retirement with his perfect career. Jones is Calzaghes's Tarver. Think about it.

I don't make Calzaghe threads every day. Not even every week.

The problem with Roy is - as much as he's slipped, there's always room for him to slip even further. November 8th could be the night he loses it all. Just a thought.

But I think the biggest issue facing him is whether his heart is in it, especially if the going gets tough. A replay of Tarver III could be ugly.

I don't know if Joe C. can keep up that workrate fighting someone who can hit you when he "WANTS" to hit you. If Joe comes in trying to throw those fast slaps and gets his jaw jacked in the middle of one of those combo's, I think he will think twice about trying that again. Jone's could make this an easy night IMO. I know people like to bring up Tarver, but Tarver is kind of weird guy to fight. I mean you look at him fight and he looks and moves like he is scered to death, and the all of the sudden he drops one on you out of the blue. Glen Johnson got to Jones at the best time possilbe, when Jones confidence level was low IMO, the only time I recall Jones even throwing a punch was when the crowd started Booo-ing him as he laid on the ropes, clearly something was wrong..Joe C. used to try to get the best fighter in the world at the time, RJJ, to come across the pond to fight him, knowing Jones would say NOOO! I call it selling wolf tickets! Now we see Jones was willing to take the fight here or there, didn't matter to him because Joe is the man right now and you got to give him that respect, actually the respect he wouldn't give Jone's while he was hiding oversea's. It took an aging Hopkins to get him here the 1st time thinking it would be an easy payday and damn near lost. Jone's may have been KO'd twice but NOBODY has beaten the fight out of him like Meldric Taylor, Gatti, Castillio, Corrales (rip), ect. ect. had the fight "Beaten" out of them in the fashion that Margrito did to Cotto. Jone's has alot more left in him IMO, maybe not the Jone's of old but he does have something left that those mentioned left in the ring.

Remember Tarver had a SOLID punch. Not only that, Jones was on his losing streak and had other personal issues going on at that time. I'm sure he has fully recovered from all of that by way of time and fighting in the lower levels and then facing the blown up Tito. I don't think anyone should worry about heart and will when it comes to Roy. If anything it will be age and endurance working against him. I'm sure he's fully prepared to take on Joe Calzaghe and knows exactly what to expect from him. I'm not so sure Joe knows what to expect from Jones. I don't think anyone does but Roy Jones Jr himself.

Also remember, age is not only working against Roy here. Roy is learning to deal with it his age. The REAL questions are, has Calzaghe "slipped" since the Kessler fight? If so, can he deal with it? Are his hands still good enough to fully commit? Is Calzaghe's legs going to allow him to move like he always does?

No ones seen him actually FIGHT since Kessler. HOP did his JOB and "FORCED" Calzaghe to go at Hops pace and NEVER get off many punches. Hop just couldn't let enough punches go himself to get at least a draw or a SD for himself. Anyway I dont think his will and heart will be a problem. It more his legs and endurance. But i'm not overly concerned about it.

The day after the legend Joe Calzaghe beats Roy Jones. Jones was "50 years old, washed up, past his prime, got robbed, would've beaten Cal***gy/slappy in his prime" and Calzaghe is ducking Pavlik, Dawson, Tarver, Johnson etcetera...

                      Umm, are you dense?

Why the day after? TODAY, AS I TYPE, Roy Jones is considered old, washed up, and shot.

                      Get real.
