Its well know they hated each other ask any boxing fan from the 90's, there was big talk of a super fight when both were with king. I think chavez would of been a nightmare for terry with that cast iron chin and them bodyshots

It was no secret that Norris wanted JCC real bad and was willing to drop down to 147 to fight him. He may have been too naturally big for Chavez.

If Norris sticked to boxing instead of brawling I would've given him a big chance to win that fight.

I remember a friend of mine said chavez and his crew and norris and his crew were at a pary and trouble started, but police were called before it got out of hand. They nearlly come to blows more than once, at a king after party they started again, would of loved to of seen it, with all this bad blood.

Norris was too big for Chavez. Provided he wasn't drained from making 147, and he wasn't a big junior middle (he made 149 for Taylor), I say he beats Chavez up pretty bad.

            Chavez wasn't much above 140.

Norris was very fun to watch. Beautiful combos, sadistic streak in the ring, fluid punches and movement, shaky chin, tendency to trade when unnecessary.

It's good to hear that his speech isn't THAT bad. He was known to go all out in sparring.

Sparring plays a big role in guys getting brain-damaged. It's not like Norris was involved in a whole lot of two-way wars where he took a lot of sustained punishment upstairs.

Well that was why I specified offense, lol. If his defense and chin measured up to it he would have been one of the ATG's.

And his ability to follow the rules.

Terry Norris vs. The Rules of Boxing is a mismatch

It IS that bad, talked to him 3 years ago when he was in attendance on one of those "Battle of the Badges" in one of the Indian casinos here in San Diego area were I work. He stutters and sounds like a punch drunk...
