Hes the one that decided to try to look like a bodybuilder when he should have been worried about fighting.

He'll probably end up fighting another CW thats moving up in O'Neal Bell, Watch.
No one is saying he will be the saviour but he will bring some life into the division.

I see tons of posts with people saying otherwise...I think they're all Brits though.

Chagaev is the single most difficult opponent out there for Haye, including Klitschko. I doubt this will happen. RC had to pull out of his rematch with Valuev because of his ankle injury.

Chagaev is beatable, as everyone is, but he's the most difficult guy in the division to hit with a right hand.

Thompson is a very tricky opponent for Haye too.

Haye is not exactly the saviour of the division but he is a huge punching knockout artist who is chinny enough to make anything a pick'em fight. Some of you need to understand that his chin is part of the appeal.

Is that why people like Wlad also? I've never got people liking a fighter because he can get knocked out...Gatti would be the greatest ever.

squeal is right on the money with this, at least, this is why I enjoy David Haye. It's not that he's a good finisher, or has great speed and power for his weight; it's also the fact that he's been put on his ass a good number of times, and now that he's moving up to heavyweight, we can expect his tea scented british chin to eat many big shots.

If you're a puncher, you gotta come in with everything thus if someone manages to time and counter you when you come in through the front door with everything, that's your ass. You will be hurt...Now, on the same token, that's why alot of people watch him. Being a puncher like him, in boxing, is alot like having to go through what Howard Stern went through. You got people who watch him fight to win and people who watch him fight and hope he loses, and then a mixture of both. Like with Stern, he had listeners who hated him and wanted him dead, and listeners who loved him.

What should be universally understood from Haye is this, no matter who you are or where you're from, if you are a puncher and punch, if KO's end up being the result, people will appreciate your style and love your fights. Boxing is about knockouts when it comes to fan frenzied media coverage...

Fair enough. Haye at best can become to the HW division what Edison Miranda was to the middleweight division.

Scratch that. Miranda if his chin and stamina weren't as good.
