Manny,
If you genuinely believe that you can do 2 mil in PPV sales with Oscar, then you are an ultra-idiot for not taking the 70/30 terms.
Floyd made 30 million. You have a chance to make 25-30 million. When you usually make FIVE.
Oscar is basically asking for 2x the money that Pacquiao will make. Which seems reasonable when you consider that Oscar sells a million (Hopkins, Tito, Vargas, Mayorga, Shane 2) and manny sells 350K.
Oscar is a *****....but 70/30 is right.Comment

Which would you rather have:
a) $5 million
b) 30% of 100 millionComment

to some fighters its not bout the money. imo it should be 50/50. dlh is tring to low ball the man. pacman fans will deliver.Comment

Damn, If fans knew and understood boxing, then boxers wouldn't have to depend on guys like Oscar to have a big payday. Sad to see that boxing still needs Oscar and the fight to get is a fight with him.
Why is this guy still in the spotlight!Comment

Manny don't even do 350k unless its against a top opponent like Marquez. Manny vs. David Diaz did 165k buys. Even at 70-30 Pac is being overpaid.Comment

Slap in the face? What is Pacquiao going to do if Hatton loses before Manny gets a shot at him? Fight Soto and Nate Campbell for a COMBINED $6 OR 7 mil. And if he wins both of those then what? Guzman or Marquez for maybe 5 more? That'd be three REALLY TOUGH fights that will still make him less than one fight with Oscar would have.
I wish someone would offer me a "slap in the face" offer like that. This is almost on par with Mayweather's "slave wages" comment back in '98.Comment

I mean it's all relative. Manny gets $3-5 mil per fight, which I'd say qualifies as a big payday, but Oscar churns out BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG paydays.Comment

Floyd took the deal and then got 60-40 against Hatton and was offered either 60-40 or 55-45 for the Oscar rematch.
Think long term Manny.Comment
