The Ten Fights To Save Boxing

What 10 fights would do the most to help boxing in ur opinion?
Floyd v Oscar did more harm than hurt in my opinion because it attracted so many viewers, non fans and fringe fans watched and it was a crap fight and a debatable decision. Basically it turned them off. Anyway name ur 10 to save the game!

Not a bad list! I dont think Mijares or Montiel are well enough known to make much of an impact tho

I think it needs it for LHW to move forward. I hate the way that the muti-belts scenario allows up to four guys share the same 'status' in a division and co-incidentally never fight each other. If Tarver and Dawson fight we'll have a clear and credible 'best LHW' which might put pressure on Calzaghe to fight one of them (unlikely, if he doesn't retire it'll be Pavlik) or if not clear up the divison a bit and give guys like Kessler and Pavlik a target to aim at should they move up. Hopefully Dawson takes it.

It doesn't need to be saved.

Look at what Barrera and Morales did for featherweight. I think Mijares-Montiel could really impress some people who've never seen either of them.

Can't believe I forgot Vasquez vs Lopez. I'd really love to see Mares vs Lopez too.
