All around, I would believe these fighters

Israel Vazquez, Jermaine Taylor, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and Andre Berto i feel have been pretty upfront about their experiences and careers up to date. I like how Jermaine made no excuses and admitted that he got "his butt whooped" by Pavlik.

Here's another thing that made me distrust Shane:

He was offered a FMJ fight for HUGE money. He turned it down "because, uhh, my tooth". The real reason was because Oscar wanted to save Floyd for himself. Oscar then makes SSM come to Puerto Rico to spar. After Oscar loses, Shane then says that FMJ is ducking him....when he turned down an offer months before.

That whole episode of SSM as a sparring partner was a ***** move to me.

Jermain taylor does seem pretty honest. Winky is generally honest, although he has never lost a fight. In his eyes. It's too soon to say on Berto. He hasn't seen money yet - money changes everything.

I would trust Floyd RIGHT after a victory and only at that point because it almost seems like he is relieved to let go of all the pre fight stress and theatrics and is just ready to relax and be himself. i like that Floyd.

There's always a bunch of hearsay and rumours. As boxing fans, we are often confused about what to believe. There are a zillion websites, forums and sports blogs.

See what I mean? WITHOUT TURNING THIS INTO A FLAME WAR, what sources do you trust...generally speaking?

Who do you think is fairly objective? Which fighters tend to be honest and candid? Which promoters try to do business in the best interest of the sport?

Also, if you have examples of writers being blatantly biased, please provide those.

The only ones I trust at all would be the broadcasters and journalists (except Greg Leon). BTW, you have the wrong Goossen. Joe is a trainer and his brother Dan is the promoter.
