like 5 years from now on Legendary Nights Jim Lampley and who ever are gonna look back Cotto-Margarito and say "tisk tisk, fight only sold 500,000 on PPV how sad"
seriously who cares, entertainment value goes a longer way.
**same in regards to Pacquiao vs Diaz, which only sold 200,000 or so PPV buys ... I don't think that'll be what it's known for.Comment

I'm not defending him or making a assumption about any other point except the basic one which is in dispute.
He can speak for himself if he need to. He obviously doesn't feel a need to respond you.
Maybe you are not being civil enough.
If all that make you look at me in a negative way, I don't care.
I can move on very quickly from that.Comment

I still cant see how they get 17000 if this fight only did 11000. Almost every seat was taken, they did have a curtain but to me it didnt look like they could add any seats to that. The curtain wasn't hiding like normal seating or anything like bleachers if u guys r thinking that. I want to know if 12000 open seats or whatever how they get 5000 more seats in that place, to me i say not possible.
People are getting carried away at the attendance, the numbers actually weren't that bad.
Tyson vs Botha - 10,221* - MGM Grand
Tyson vs Seldon - 9,511* - MGM Grand
Holyfield vs Moorer - 9,395* - Thomas & Mack which also has held 17k for boxing.
Delahoya vs Whitaker - 11,764* - Thomas & Mack
*Paid attendance

The 17k was a one time thing for the Boxing at the MGM, it was obviously the biggest gate in history so they squeezed in every seat they could.
