MGM can and has done 17k+ for boxing, the paid attendance for Marg vs Cotto was 10,477, this fight did not do great at the gate but it made up for it on PPV.

I still cant see how they get 17000 if this fight only did 11000. Almost every seat was taken, they did have a curtain but to me it didnt look like they could add any seats to that. The curtain wasn't hiding like normal seating or anything like bleachers if u guys r thinking that. I want to know if 12000 open seats or whatever how they get 5000 more seats in that place, to me i say not possible.

well the max capacity is 17k which is RARE that they open that much for a boxing event. If you see behind the ring there is huge section closed off. I provided two pictures that show just about every damn seat available is filled and they still try to discredit them.
