    Like Briggs said, when you're on national TV you need to make a statement. Looking like he was sparring in the gym with an outclassed opponent isn't going to fast track him to HBO.

      He's proberbly trying to get more rounds in the bank, for experience and to test his stamina and whatnot. Young guys always go out there looking to KO there guy early and when there in against a guy that can take there punishment they are usually lost and don't know what to do.

          Thinking about it canonically, the statement I read from Green was most likely before the Miranda fight. But hard to imagine it'd be harder than even Green's fight with McCrary.
