I know plenty of boxers who are not professional, and they are all better than this guy.

He probably does OK in bar brawls but he'd be lucky to win a medal in a novice amateur boxing event.

Ironically he'd probably do better as a professional than as an amateur because of the number of pros that just don't take it seriously. People like Andrew Hartley et al.

as for the guy he is probably a good street fighter because he seems to throw straighter shots than the average guy on the street but in a ring? nah you have to remember there is more to boxing than just knowing how to throw a punch (which he doesn't even do well for a boxer). He is far too square throws arms punches when not winding up and leaves himself way too open for an average fighter not to land at will on him

there are plenty of tough guys just like him who fight in the pros locally and for the most part they are average at best
