true that... like i just said

oscar is 5 11 and tyson is 5 10... does that mean oscar should move up to HW? (when tyson was active obviously)

anyone who thinks height has to do with how big someone is, is ill-informed.

Mr Wilson! I agree....Thats just a very lame excuse that some people are coming up with...I've never heard of boxing being divided by your height...I've could have sworn it was divided by weight classes!

Good comparison...another one is Tyson...He was short as hell and that didnt stop him from tearing up some of the taller heavyweights...Some posters on here are tooooo FUNNY! Williams is to tall to be fighting at WW...So what does that make Chico for fighting at Lightweight? What does that make Tommy Hearns?

What will happen if Margarito does the same? He's 5'11 and has the frame to support 160-168. Hmmmm? I don't know. Not relevant to what I'm saying in this thread, WLAD OWNS....

whats funny is a lot these guys complaining are margarito fans, as if margarito isn't a big ass welterweight himself. I mean he beat Cotto because he was naturally bigger/stronger.

Seriously, most of the guys in the welterweight division aren't true welterweights (Williams, Clotty, Margarito, Cintron) and could easily fight at higher weights. And that can be said with all weight classes.

BUT, that's how the game works. The weigh-in is the day before the fight, so until that changes don't get mad at the fighter for making weight, get mad at the system in place.
