Good comparison...another one is Tyson...He was short as hell and that didnt stop him from tearing up some of the taller heavyweights...Some posters on here are tooooo FUNNY! whats funny is a lot these guys complaining are margarito fans, as if margarito isn't a big ass welterweight himself. I mean he beat Cotto because he was naturally bigger/stronger.

Seriously, most of the guys in the welterweight division aren't true welterweights (Williams, Clotty, Margarito, Cintron) and could easily fight at higher weights. And that can be said with all weight classes.


BUT, that's how the game works. The weigh-in is the day before the fight, so until that changes don't get mad at the fighter for making weight, get mad at the system in place.
