Wiliiams just needs to keep pace wit him and beat anotha contender while he waits for the Clottey-Tony winner, if that fight does happen. Either way Williams should get his shot in within his next 2 fights, just so long as he don't lose the 1st one.
Williams has to remain active and put himself in a position that the boxing world cannot ignore his status.

    There is only one way.

    Fight often.

    Win.

You still dont get it do you.
So, since you think you are smarter than everyone, why do you even post in NSB? If it's not to promote discussion, then why in the hell do it?

I'll ask one more time... what do you see happening in the rematch between Williams and Margarito?

They way I see these dilemnas, Paul Williams has to....

He has to tone down his trashtalk and buckle down to work. The thing with elites fighting elites is that one has to put himself in a prime position for a lucrtative deal.

In Williams' case he has to continue to fight top contenders. Stay busy. Fight frequently. Trash talk is ok for me but you have to supplement that with activity. His promoter has to line him up future fights.

Continue to win and the top fights will get to him naturally. Williams has to understand that he will be in a better position for the big fights if he continues to stay active and win.

As for the issue of PW starving himself.

Any man who can make weight should not be given prejudice no matter if he's 7 foot tall.

Natural weights is a matter of opinion and bottomline if a boxer makes weight for a given fight then people should not grumble.

        Fair is fair afterall.
Man Joart looks like your finally following your own advice of using plain and basic common sense. I actually totally agree with you on the people complaining about Williams weight. If the guy can make it during the mandated time then he should be allowed to fight at that weight. It's just a bull**** excuse if people say it's unfair.

Williams is a champion. Margs is a champion. Williams beat Margs and asked for a fight. Margs is looking for a money fight. Margs is offered 4 mil + for a rematch with Margs. Margs wants to fight old Dlh. Dlh says Margs won't get the fight. Who will Margs fight next? Why fight a rematch with Clottey who he beat, and rematch Williams, a man he did NOT beat?
