Kirkland shared BAD with Angulo and Gamboa, and had arguably the best night of the three. But the other two share a regular HBO card, while Kirkland reverts to ESPN (and a tougher opponent at that).

    Someone got a raw deal.

That's just more **** they can throw at each other to build it up. Mainly they wanna have mutual opponents and chances to hear the other ones name during their fights. It's all business and promotion. Don't get me wrong I'd like to see the fight already, no sense in watching two prospects that might turn out like the peterson brothers, just fightin bums till they're in their 30s. Still, if you're managing and promoting a young fighter with lots of talent, you're not gonna throw him a real threat until you know you're gonna get something for it.

He's having promotional issues with Gary Shaw, I'm not sure but I think he's leaving them.

I just have all kinds of doubts as to whether they'd ever fight.

Well if that's the case, then I still hope he takes on Joel Julio.

He fired gary shaw, so that explains that. Apparently he wanted to fight at least 5 times a year and shaw didn't do what he promised, so I recall.
