I don't see Williams beating Cotto, there's just waaaaaaay too much body there for Miguel to find.

He's also being backed because he beat the man who beat Margarito who him, his fans, and promoter trash Mayweather. You better believe if Williams starts calling out Mayweather they will turn their back on him. EVERYTHING a Mayweather nuthugger says on here goes back to Mayweather if you question why they decided to speak on a subject.
Mayweather is one of my top five or six favourite fighters. And I feel that Williams is the guy that poses the biggest threat. I think Floyd is vulnerable to taller fighters that can fight him right. But not somebody as s l o w as Tony.

When someone asked me who posed the biggest threat to FMJ at 154 on down, I said "Winky, Sechew, and paul".

Yes. i said Sechew. That was before he lost his balls.

I don't see Floyd-Williams being that close honestly. I think it might take the first couple rounds for Floyd to get used to the southpaw style, but look how Quintana's movement puzzled Williams. In the rematch, Quintana never really got the chance to start moving and confuse Williams. I'm not all that convinced that Williams can handle a good mover.

I think Winky would have beaten Floyd.

You're a better boxing handicapper than that.

In all likelihood Cotto would destroy Williams.

Mayweather against Williams? Paul wouldn't win a single second of that fight.

There's also a lot of head for Williams to find. Margarito had a lot of body to find too, but Cotto couldn't get anywhere near his body.

I've watched the fight several times. When you combine the vulnerabilities you saw in Corley, Torres, Judah, and Mosley....and then watch the Margarito fight, you realize how flawed Miguel is.

Yes. He looked GREAT beating a Contender. But Williams will take Cotto apart.

Paul's still gotta beat Margarito again to officially take over the throne. Margarito wasn't on top when Paul UD'd him the 1st time. If Marg don't fight him, then Williams is clearly the man.
