Am I the only one surprised that Margarito has scared the living **** out of DLH? I mean I can understand a guy like Mayweather ducking Margarito because he ducked any one who was a serious threat to him. But DLH has been in there with the best of the best and never backed down from any challenge... until now! Margarito is just exposing all the cowards in boxing...

De La Hoya wants to be as sure as he can of winning his farewell fight, and he wants it to be agin one of the sport's biggest names.



If Margarito can't get a better fight --- meaning De La Hoya --- he doesn't have any reason not to fight Paul.

Indeed he is, I dislike Williams but there is no denying the guy has some big cojones for wanting to fight Margarito in the first place and call him out for a rematch after taking Tony's title. I re-watched Williams-Margarito and can honestly say Williams was the better fighter that night, Tony didn't seem like his usual self and just let that fight go.

I was surprised that on the 12th round Tony didn't have more urgency specially after hurting Williams in the last rounds. Williams got a second win on the 12th and showed he was the hungrier man that night. If Tony would of win the 12 I think the fight could of been a draw.

However I think it can be agreed that Williams will always give Tony and other fighters at 147 problems with his lanky ass and punch output, however I really really think Tony can stop him in the rematch.

Its because Williams came out and just took the 12th round from margarito is why i think Williams victory had alot to do with how he threw margarito off as opposed to "starting fast" williams didnt get worn down like everyone else and buckle.

Great post man, at least you are not those fools who are saying that Williams shouldn’t get a rematch with Margarito. If he can’t get Oscar then he should fight Williams.
