If Calzaghe beat Pavlik in the same fashion he beat Lacy, he would get my respect. If he beat Pavlik like he did against Hopkins, nope.

I already give him respect, I think every boxer deserves some measure of respect for stepping through those ropes, anyway, beating Pavlik would definitely deserve respect, of course it depends on Pavlik beating Hopkins.

Its alright saying it now but many people will just make excuses like - Pavlik wasnt all that - He wasnt the same after fighting Lockett.

if its an ugly decision, it would be fair to say both fighters were slightly overrated.

if its a lacy style beatdown i would call calzaghe the fighter of the decade.

Now I'm sure we will see everybody say that Calzaghe will get maximum props for beating Pavlik if he did so, but we Calzaghe fans have very good reason to doubt this. How shall I put this?
