both calzaghe and pavlik are overrated.
calz has to get through jones first, gonna be the first time he gets tested in his whole career
IF he manages that, and fights pavlik. i will give the guy credit.
if he beats him then the fighter of the decade

Hes not fighting pavlik lets be honest. If pavlik looses to hopkins then theres no point in calzaghe risking loosing his undefeated record to him. If pavlik beats hopkins better then he did then he will anounce his retirement.
its the way the cookie crumbles these days folks

at least he leaves the sport with some money....
Well I guess he's content with not going down as a HOF'er/legend or be remembered as a "GREAT". If he's cool with that then let the man retire in peace. At least he will receive a BIG pay check by fighting "THE BEST FIGHTER IN THE LAST 25 YEARS". Good on ya on Joey C.......
He will be easily forgotten and when the topic of Maywether ducking COTTO and MARG comes up down the road, someone will mention; hey didn't Joe something or another duck a bunch of people to fight old men, they will laugh and joke about it and carry on...
Sorry guys, you know just as well as many others, if he retires after Jones he will not go down in history. He will get **** just as MAYWEATHER will if he doesnt come back to the sport. Plain and simple. Don't kid yourselves.
AND REMEMBER folks, this is NOT just my opinion, this is what MANY will feel (besides his dedicated "NUTHUGGERS") once he retires if he does.....

Calzaghes, what a great resume and what a great career his names on his resume is amazing it rivals the best. This unbelieve fights he has, beating a weight drained and out of retirement Eubank, beating a unproven Kessler and his greatest moment coming back from a knockdown from a 43 year old man and escaping with a memorable victory.
What a career and what a great man.
