To be fair, that is about as factually incorrect as it is possible to get, but I see what you mean.

      • I hate how Calzaghe said, "it's an honour to fight Roy Jones, he's the fighter of the 90's". It's 2008 you 'tard, Roys been reduced to fighting laid off, blown up fellow 90's superstars like Tito Trinidad to convince people he's still elite

I think it could be an extremely subtle put-down. On time he said: "Hopkins, Roy Jones, yeah, lets go dig those old guys up!"

          • Calzaghe's a cunning **** though...he wants to parachute out of boxing with Hopkins and Jones on his resume, but real fans, like myself, will never allow him to be held in high regard for these victories because they're pretty meaningless, at this stage..

You shouldn't take what Calzaghe says seriously. In his book he talks about how fighting Jones now would do nothing for his legacy because of his two knockout losses, one to Tarver and the other to Johnson. Then later on after the Taylor-Pavlik fight he states how Jones is a shot fighter and that he would rather fight Taylor or Pavlik. Now he says he is a legend and after the fight he will be a legend killer. The funny thing is these legends have one foot in the grave already.

Calzaghe just got OWNED. Well put. My friend told me about that as well actually from reading the autobiography, I almost forgot. Calzaghe's good at devaluing his opposition, we don't even need to say anything ha.

lol , yes that's funny, but we already PROVED that Joe Calzaghe contradicts himself almost daily while his fans swear and pray TRUTH. Its really funny. Anyone that believes Joe's FLIP FLOP statements are "SHEEP"!

Don't worry like a very huge % of boxing fans know this. So trust me, we all know what you know and I'm as pissed as you.

Are you sure you don't mean 'psychotically committed Calzaghe haters like myself'?

                      Jokes.
