I now have a reason to cheer for Vernon Forrest in the rematch. Then again none of the De La Hoya match ups really intrigue me. I'd actually like to see Oscar-Shane 3 or even Oscar vs JCC jr.

If anything Mora is gonna beat Vernon Forrest more convincingly this time! I mean **** IF he wins he gets oscar and a mega millions check! **** if thats me Imma **** up vernon forrest so ****ing bad and train extra hard just to take vernon out so I can get to oscar.

thats what pacman did when he beat up diaz, they told him if you beat diaz you can fight hatton or oscar and he fought diaz hard too.

Why would you rather watch a JCC jr matchup? Because it's more entertaining, or a more competitive fight? Honestly I see Oscar tearing through JCC jr quite early, as oppose to Mora who can at least frustrate Oscar while losing the majority of the rounds. I guess you'd get more action out of JCC though. I dont mind this fight so much. It's still a good champ, a hard guy to fight, and a big boy (while lacking power) that is damn hard to hurt. People are sad, because Margarito would be legendary, but Oscar already has one of the most impressive resumes of all time. He's old and this is still a pretty decent note to go out on, although I still half believe he is going to fight Margarito (who himself hasn't fought the man that beat him already so people really need to stop bitching so hard.)

You should be cheering for him anyway, Forrest is a guy who had to work much harder than mora for any props at all, most people here today really dont even know much about him, which is sad, he was about as avoided as margarito was, and hes 10x the fighter.

He should just fight Tinky Winky at like 156.

De La Hoya vs. Sergio Mora in The Works For Dec. 6

After the breakdown of the negotiations with WBC lightweight champion Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya has turned his attention to next likely candidate, WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Mora. De La Hoya's fight will still take place on December 6 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. [details]
