Why won't Oscar fight Margarito? Here's why:

Excuse is excuse, but fact is facts, he has unsettled business with someone.. Margarito lost and didn't go for the rematch.. Williams lost to Quintana but did not hesitate going for the rematch immediately and destroyed him.. What about Margarito?

Williams vs Margarito II makes sense, unification.

Tony should try to avenge the loss and accept the rematch. Unfortunately, he has a lot of bandwagon fans who are not aware that he lost to williams. So, they wont really push for the rematch.

Marg started to slow he had a off night, but when williams lost his first fight to an elite level boxer, now all of a sudden williams sucks and would get beat by any fighter with decent boxing skills, the rematch with carlos proved that to be bull****, and for the people who say williams isnt a big enough name lol, when did margarito become a big name, His name is bigger for beating cotto but he still isnt a big name.

Margarito needs to either rematch cotto or fight williams or clottey, Imo clottey has the best chance of beating margarito because of his chin and defense, the funny thing is most williams fans want to see him in a rematch with margarito, and most margarito fans want him to fight ODLH, I love the irony in that!

The thing is, the fights with Williams, Cotto and Clottey will happen, there is TIME for those fight to happen later.

Oscar has one fight left in December. Tony is in the best position right NOW, after his tremendous defeat of P4P champ, Miguel Cotto. This is a fight the boxing world has wanted for years. It makes perfect sense right now. Yet Oscar is trying everything to get our of this fight.

I undestand what your saying, Margarito deserves this fight no doubt, but oscar wont take it, look at his last two fights mayweathers whos a small fighter and stevie forbes an even smaller fighter, then he had hatton another small fighter lined up, if he was able to get past mayweather, Oscar doesnt want to get beaten up badley in his farwell fight, so he will duck margarito like the plague.

Tony can avenge his defeat in time, but Oscar is only going to be boxing one last time, Oscar needs to fight him and then Tony can go and fight Williams after he's done knocking Oscar out.

2) Shane Mosley in a trilogy fight
3) Antonio Margarito

i'm all for dlh marg fight but this sparring incident is being hyped up too much. granted marg made him bleed, do you think oscar or his handlers would want an all out war in sparring, get busted up, and leave nothing for the fight, just to get even at short-tempered marg?
