Why won't Oscar fight Margarito? Here's why:

Here's why Oscar won't fight Tony:

An excerpt from on article on thesweetscience:

What makes the matchup even more interesting, and potentially even more marketable, is Margarito's well-known tenure as a former De La Hoya sparring partner. Recalling his time in the De La Hoya camp, Margarito hints that he may have been a little too fiery for the liking of De La Hoya's handlers: “On two different occasions, I made him bleed. Once from the nose, and the other time from the ear. Unfortunately, both times they sent me back down.”

    Another excerpt from boxing insider:

“I did spar with Oscar but I used him as my sparring partner,” Margarito told me about two years ago, of their sparring sessions from about four years ago. “Oscar and his trainer wanted me to be their dummy. They would tell me to let him hit me, not to throw any punches. Then I would be told to throw at him, but not hard, while he was throwing hard.”

Clearly, Oscar was well aware of the extraordinary punching power of Margarito and was uncomfortable to deal with it’s consequences. But Margarito is a champion, he does not possess the typical ’sparring partner mentality’ and refused to be Oscar’s dolt.

“I’m a person with a short temper, all this was only making me furious. So, naturally, I would let go of my punches with power. On two different occasions I made him bleed. Once from the nose, and the other time from the ear. Unfortunately, both times they sent me back down.”

Oscar will fight Margarito in December now, and he will BEAT him, you watch. He's gonna get some payback for Tony not complying with his sparring rules.

Oscar's too damn scared to fight Tony, he's now looking at Sergio Freakin Mora, for his farewell fight. I originally said this would be a good fight in September, but for his December farewell fight, are you kidding me?

Shaefer already said it.. He got beat by Williams and didn't try to avenge like a man on his defeat with Santos and Paul Williams and asked for a rematch.. If got beat, then go for the rematch immediately.

Excuse is excuse, but fact is facts, he has unsettled business with someone.. Margarito lost and didn't go for the rematch.. Williams lost to Quintana but did not hesitate going for the rematch immediately and destroyed him.. What about Margarito?
