He gave Mayweather 70-30 split for the rematch.. He gave Pacquiao a 80-20 split.. I mean this guy has been swallowed by Cash! He is rich, Why can't he provide and share reasonable amount..

Why is Oscar greedy? Because hes worth it, the other fighters always get a fair share besides Mayorga. Mayorga only got 2 million to fight Oscar. Much less than everyone else. But this is pro boxing, this isnt charity.

Oscar did offer the 70-30 split to Pac and Manny still turned down more money than hes ever made before. He didnt want the fight.

De La Hoya isnt hard to make fights with. Hes fought everybody in his era, unlike most other top fighters who always seem to get a pass.

Yeah I agree with this. As a big Oscar fan I have no problem with him proposing these kind of splits based on the fact that it is what he is worth. Oscar brings the bucks to the table therefore he should be the one to take the majority of it away. I think Oscar gets a fair bit of **** from boxing fans that he doesn't deserve.

Exactly. All the big fighters always make thier highest payday ever when they fight De La Hoya. So hes not getting in the way of big fights being made, which is the most important factor. Hes bringing in more money than any other fighter, by far.

I had a feeling this fight wouldnt happen. He was getting trashed by everyone for it. I agree Oscar does take a bit **** from the fans he doesnt deserve.

Personally I am extremely happy that the fight is not going to be made. I would prefer Oscar be remembered as one of the best fighters of his generation who took on the biggest challenges he could find, rather than fighting a guy like Pacquiao who I think he would absolutely destroy. I would like to see him fight Margarito who I think he could beat, but I don't think that will get made either.

Callin for a 70-30 split against pac was bull****, on top of the actual fight bein bull**** anyway. DLH always draws, so he'll still make bank for a fight wit Tony, who might be willin to accept peanuts despite his current luster. Too bad he won't do it.

Pac is wild rich also , I think its more Oscar is treating Manny like a ****men , fighters are proud men I dont think it would sit real well that Manny is offered only 30% , from his point of view he is Oscars equal , 30% in an insult .
