At this point, Soto would kill morales. I dont know how you come to that conclusion.I'm not even gonna go into that, it has been argued here so many times im already tired of it... we all know what happened it's history. EM beat PAC and vice-versa... let's leave it to that.
IMO that version of EM in the rematch beats current version soto and valero... let's give pac his credit.Comment

What are you talking about Barrera not wanting to face Pac until he made it big? Barrera was the first to face him when Pac was unknown. Barrera gave Pac, a young up and coming champ, his first real shot at the limelight which is something Pac has yet to do with a young champ. Do you honestly believe the Pac of today would risk entering the ring with a version of his former self, let alone 9 fights from now as Barrera did? Doesnt seem like it based on some of the decisions he's made. I cant believe you'd question Barrera's balls when he faced the best fighters out there from the beginning of his career to the very end.exactly.
much props to erik too.
at least he had the balls for an IMMEDIATE REMATCH.
the other 2 didn't want to fight him 'til manny made it big and would ensure a big payday. to all the boxing newbies , keep that in mind the next time you ***** about manny taking only the big money fights.Comment

it's a known fact the gbp didn't want to put marco in there with manny again. i'm not questioning marco's balls , he has plenty. it was a figure of speech.
can you explain to me how juan manuel marquez got a title shot of marco's 130 belt before manny did?
manny had been campaigning at 130 for years. gbp wanted the belt to go to juan ma first.
i think that's why marco left gbp. he could've gotten a lot more money if he was the 130 champ in the rematch with manny.Comment

It's not as if Barrera chose to face a bum instead of Pac. He went up against Marquez, one of the toughest fighters today, that Barrera had yet to face.read the post , bud. talking about rematches.

After Barrera's first fight with Pac, I'm sure even he realized that Pac was the better fighter at that point in their careers. There was no real unfinished business between the two yet Barrera still chose to face him in his very last fight. I'm sure money was a motivator for Barrera but if anything, the man suffers from an abundance of balls. He could have retired by his 60th fight and ridden off into the sunset, but he continued fighting on and had a long and legendary career.Comment

that's not my point. you totally misunderstand me. never mind. It's not as if Barrera chose to face a bum instead of Pac. He went up against Marquez, one of the toughest fighters today, that Barrera had yet to face.

That would mean morales would have to go toe to toe with the bigger soto, which again, morales would lose, hed hold his own, but hed lose possibly by KO, Soto is that good, and at that point morales had one foot out the door.Comment
